Fueling Brains Academy Murals & More

At this daycare, the rebrand called for visuals that felt imaginative, playful, and rooted in how children see the world. The goal was to elevate their creative presence with artwork that reflected a child’s mind at work, full of curiosity, colour, and storytelling, while still aligning with the new brand direction.

Think Like a Child

Balancing the daycare’s playful rebrand with my usual polished style meant creating visuals that felt imaginative without losing professional clarity. I struck that middle ground by blending child‑like shapes, textures, and looseness with intentional composition, colour choices, and clean typography, resulting in artwork that felt authentic to a child’s world while still meeting brand standards.

I used Adobe Fresco, Illustrator, and Photoshop throughout the illustration process, choosing each tool based on the level of detail, texture, or refinement needed for the final assets.

Personal Redbubble Store

I turned my personal drawings into merchandise by photographing each illustration and uploading them to Redbubble. This let me repurpose artwork that had been sitting in my room and transform it into sellable products like stickers, prints, apparel, and more so that my designs could reach a wider audience and live beyond the sketchbook.

Making a Business

Most of these illustrations were refined in Photoshop or Illustrator and prepared as print‑ready files before I uploaded them to Redbubble. When a drawing started as a simple sketch, I enhanced the presentation by framing or re‑composing the piece to make it more visually engaging as merchandise.

Some of the illustrations I uploaded came from the Inktober drawing challenge, where artists respond to a single‑word prompt like “ringing” with an ink‑based drawing. To make the challenge more meaningful, I connected each prompt to a verse from the Bible and built the artwork around that theme.

To increase visibility, I also ran a series of Facebook and Instagram ads through their business tools, promoting selected designs to reach a wider audience and drive more traffic to my Redbubble shop.

Statue Series

This personal project was inspired by my interest in the contours, emotion, and dramatic lighting found in marble sculpture. I experimented with inexpensive paint and applied it straight from the bottle to keep the colour completely consistent across each piece, giving the series a bold, pop‑art quality. Alongside these paintings, I also created additional statue‑inspired sketches and digital illustrations in Adobe to explore the same themes through different mediums.
