Grandma's Clippings

My grandmother passed down a box of her collected recipes, and I didn’t want the experience of cooking through them to be forgotten. I created a cooking show to share both her classics and my own new dishes in a space that feels warm, nostalgic, and intentionally old‑fashioned.

Videography & Editing

The first step was planning the timing and structure of each segment. I had to decide whether to include ingredient prep, how to position the camera, and even small details like making sure I looked presentable on screen. Every choice shaped the flow and clarity of the final video.

I added transitions, on‑screen text, and subtle background music to guide viewers through the cooking process and avoid any awkward pauses. These elements helped create a smoother, more engaging viewing experience.

For my next video, I’ve invested in new audio and lighting equipment to elevate the overall production quality even further.

Photography began as a hobby and quickly became an essential part of my design practice. It allows me not only to work with client‑provided images but also to create the exact angles, moods, and visual storytelling needed to support the message and strengthen the overall design.

Whether for print or digital marketing collateral, having control over both the creative direction and the imagery helps me build cohesive, intentional work.
